Traditional owners

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners' connection to the land and waterways on which Brisbane’s inner-city area now stands and pay respect to Elders past and present.

We recognise that Connection to Country is an integral part of First Nations cultures, languages, spirituality and art. We also acknowledge the dynamic contribution made by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to the Brisbane community.
